¡Qué día tan especial!
On 18 November, our school had the honor of welcoming the Spanish Women’s National Futsal Team for a meet-and-greet organized by the Spanish Embassy in the Philippines, in collaboration with the Centro de Español de Poveda and the Office of Sports and Performing Arts, with the presence of H.E. Miguel Utray, together with our dear friends from the Instituto Cervantes and the Asesoría de Educación en Filipinas.
Our Grade 8 students and Football Varsity members had the chance to ask the players questions and enjoy a fun photo opportunity during this memorable visit, held in celebration of the historic FIFA Women’s Futsal World Cup, taking place for the first time here in the Philippines.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the team for sharing their time and inspiration. We wish the Spanish Women’s National Futsal Team the very best in their journey ahead, and we also send our full support and best wishes to our very own Philippine Futsal Team as they compete on this historic stage.
