The Personalized Education of POVEDA (PEP) is the core foundation and characteristic spirit of Saint Pedro Poveda College.

PRESCHOOL
TO
GRADE 1
The students are guided by the teacher all the time.
The teacher reads the instructions on the cards for the students.
The teacher plays a big role in the process of making and submitting the IW output.
GRADE 2
The students are guided by the teacher all the time.
The teacher reads the instructions on the cards but gives the child more opportunities to read and answer the cards on their own.
GRADE 3
AND
GRADE 4
The experience is guided by the teacher through a thorough IW orientation at the beginning of each session.
The students are given immediate feedback during the period.
The teacher validates the work of the students.
The teacher is present for consultation or clarifications.
GRADE 5
AND
GRADE 6
The teacher gives more opportunities for the students to do the cards on their own after the IW orientation is given at the beginning of the session. The students submit their output with minimal supervision from the teacher.
The teacher is present for consultation or clarifications.
GRADE 7
Since the students are in their first year in high school where there are new and additional routines, the teacher initially takes a bigger role in supervision during the adjustment period.
The teacher moves towards lessening the supervision and giving the students more opportunities for independent learning.

The teacher sets additional opportunities for independent learning with zero to minimal supervision.
The teacher is present for consultation.

The teacher is given a consultative role in the IW experience.
The teacher guides the students as they exercise their own agency.
