On March 16, 2026, POVEDA proudly renewed its partnership with Instituto Cervantes Manila, reaffirming an 11-year collaboration dedicated to enriching every Povedan’s knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of the Spanish language and culture.

The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was formally signed on behalf of POVEDA by Ms. Charisse Marie C. Raagas, College President, and Ms. Mary Ann L. Lozada, Basic Education Principal. Representing Instituto Cervantes Manila (IC) were Francisco Javier López Tapia, Director andJosé Ignacio Urquijo Sánchez, Administrator.

Witnessing this significant milestone were Srta. Cristina Fuster Polvoreda, IC Coordinator; Alessi Callanta, Chairperson of the Student Council of Poveda, and Kylene Pongos, Vice Chairperson; Ms. Maria Riza A. Melliza, Chief Operating Officer of ITEC, Inc.; Ms. Rachelle L. Sususco and Ms. Maria Millarie T. Babia, Executive Council Members; Ms. Ma. Clarissa Gutierrez, Director of the Human Resource Management and Development Office; Ms. Jessy V. Saulo, OIC of the Centro de Español de Poveda; and members of the POVEDA community.
