KUAS and POVEDA Celebrate 10 Years of Cultural Exchange and Community Engagement

Last August 4 to 7, 2025, students from Kyoto University of Advanced Science (KUAS) visited Saint Pedro Poveda College. Students from both institutions engaged in various outreach programs and participated in a vibrant cultural exchange that showcased performances and presentations highlighting each other's unique traditions and heritage.

Throughout the exciting week, KUAS students—accompanied by Poveda’s Student Council (SCOP) officials, members of the Poveda Model United Nations (POV-MUN), Social Action Office and faculty from the Social Studies, Filipino, and Physical Education departments—immersed themselves in the cultures and everyday realities of POVEDA’s partner communities, deepening mutual understanding and strengthening bonds of fellowship.

This year is also the 10th year of their meaningful partnership, which began in 2015.
