Coming from a hiatus, with short days of training prior to the competition, POVEDA Volleyball Team made an impressive comeback, finishing 2nd in their first tournament of the season — the AAPS District Meet held last September 8, 10, and 12 at St. Bridget School. Thanks to our newly appointed coaches. You are truly worth the wait.
The team entered the championship, only falling short, scoring 23-25, 25-17, 22-25. It was a good game indeed.
The great mission continues. The winning season has just begun! Our heartfelt gratitude to Coaches Mayeth, Joanne and Ers for dedicating all their time and efforts to the team.
