Congratulations, Juju A. Kabatay!

We proudly congratulate Juju A. Kabatay, a Grade 9 student, for her outstanding performance at Helsinki Cup, one of the largest and most competitive youth football tournaments in Europe!

Juju played for Makati Football Club in the Girls 14 division as one of only two 2011 players, fortifying her team of mostly younger players. At the 11-aside tournament held in Finland from July 7 to 13, Juju’s team competed admirably against older players and highly adverse conditions. Their run ended on penalties in a valiant 10v11 quarterfinal match which earned them a Bronze finish and admiration across the entire tournament.
