Congratulations, Eleana Martina Ayesa and Cecilia Benares!

We are proud to share that Eleana Martina Ayesa, a Grade 5 student, and Cecilia Benares, a Grade 8 student, both members of the POVEDA Football Varsity, won Silver in the Girls 2013 division with their team, Bella Football Academy, at the Borneo Cup 2025, held from September 24 to 26 in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.

Eleana and Cecilia’s preparation and hard work led them to four wins and one tough loss in the group stage. After regrouping, they faced the same opponent in the finals—this time telling a different story. The match ended in a narrow 0–2 defeat, a testament to how excellent coaching and player resilience can dramatically change the game.

The girls ended the tournament with big smiles, proud of what they achieved as individuals and as a team—the very goal they strive for in every tournament.
