Congratulations to Chiara Michaela Dela Cruz, an incoming Grade 12 student, for winning the Harvard Alumni for Women's Empowerment Essay Writing Competition 2025 with her powerful piece, "Unseen, Underfunded, and Undervalued."

A special recognition was also given to Iris Vittoria Estrellado for representing Saint Pedro Poveda College as one of the panelists at the Empowering Girls Through Reproductive Health Education: Global Insights and Interventions forum held last June 28, 2025, where she shared her eye-opening essay, “The Teenage Pregnancy Crisis in the Philippines: A Choice or a Systematic Trap?”
