In celebration of Zero Waste Month, GS Science Teachers, STEP-CARE students (Science Enrichment Program) and their families rolled up their sleeves for a Coastal Clean-Up at the Las Piñas–Parañaque Wetland Park! With a total of 60 participants, we collected 214 kg of trash in just one hour—98 kg of which were plastics.
This hands-on activity helped our students turn their lessons on caring for the environment into real action, reminding us that small choices and teamwork can make a big difference in keeping our planet clean and healthy. Together, we’re learning how to care for creation and work toward a more zero-waste future! 🌱✨
