🕯️✨ Alumbra: Carrying the Light, Being the Legacy ✨🕯️

On May 7, 2025, the #Poveda Senior High School community gathered for the annual Candlelight Ceremony, a meaningful tradition that marks the passing of light, wisdom, and responsibility from one batch to the next.

The event began with batch bonding activities and a solemn Mass presided by Rev. Fr. Guido Everaert, CICM. Grades 11 and 12 #Povedans shared bequeathals, prophecies, and heartfelt surprises through tokens, letters, and performances. Special thanks to the faculty, staff, students, and PALM volunteers who made this meaningful tradition possible! 💖

At the heart of the event was the Lighting Ceremony, where Grade 12 Seniors symbolically received and shared their light to the Grade 11 Juniors—signifying their readiness to lead, serve, and inspire as future graduates. 🕯

Rooted in the theme "Alumbra: Carrying the Light, Being the Legacy," this moment reminds each #Povedan to be a bearer of light, a living legacy of faith, excellence, and purpose. ✨
