Advanced Placement Program
The Advanced Placement (AP®) is an academic program created by the College Board, USA, whose aim is to offer college-level courses to high school students so that they can earn college placement and college credit while still in high school.
Saint Pedro Poveda College is authorized by AP® to offer courses and recognized as an AP® testing center since 2008. Poveda offers selected AP® courses with the goal of offering a global curriculum that will make its students locally and internationally competitive and recognized.
The Advanced Placement® program is one of Poveda's best features in Curriculum and Instruction based on Poveda's PAASCU accreditation results in 2013 and 2018.

Poveda Accredited AP AP® Teachers
Poveda teachers, who handle AP AP® courses, are accredited AP AP® teachers of the College Board, USA. Every year, these AP teachers submit their syllabus to the College Board for approval and accreditation. Moreover, every year, Poveda AP® teachers receive the said approval and accreditation as early as in the month of May. This process is to ensure standardization of the curriculum, quality in the delivery of instruction, and students' acquisition of AP® skills.
