Truly, almost every Filipino home these days is blessed with a yaya who acts like an angel, caring for and watching over their little ones.  Last July 25, these ‘angels in disguise’ marched to Poveda to attend this school year's first seminar for yaya. 

With the aim of empowering yayas and inspiring them to find joy in learning new things, a two-part seminar was conducted.  Miss Mafing Geolina of the Campus Ministry talked about the life and works of Saint Pedro Poveda.  Afterwards, they were given practical tips on health and safety practices at home and on the road.

The highlight of the day was the launching of the mobile library.  Various reading materials will be made available to them while they wait for their wards.
