The Grade School Basketball Team placed 3^rd in its first Women’s National Collegiate Athletic Association (WNCAA) campaign. The team members are Gianina Gabrielle De Leon, Nicole Martine De Jesus, Miguelle Ma. Therese Samson, Bianca Ysabel Madridejos, Hazel Syhongpan, Janika Leina Villamor, Misha Maxine Tatco, Juliana Louise Landrito, Natasha Claudia Bautista, Jiya Liana Villamor, Jamie Chrissa Valdes and  Roseanne Liezl Bitas. Coaches of the team are Julie Amos and Marichu Bacarro.

POVEDA defeats De La Salle Zobel 

The High School Basketball Team opened their Women’s Basketball League (WBL) with a win over De La Salle Zobel 42-39. Their stint in the WNCAA proved to be a very good exposure to our team as they showed poise and composure over DLSZ in the final stretch of the game of the 17 under division of the WBL.

POVEDA, RIFA 9-a-Side Champion

The football team of POVEDA won the championship in RIFA 9-a-Side tournament. They beat De La Salle Lipa 2-0 in a tightly fought game with either team scoring a goal in the 1^st half of the match. The team members are Helene Enriquez, Kali Navea- Huff, Hannah Herrera, Bianca Ladaban, Jana Morales, Naomi Riskin, Alexandria Reyes, Alessandra Pineda, Ana Martina Lorenzo, Carla Vergara, Precious Vergara, Maria Isabella Cruz, Michaela Adriano, Renee Ermita, Erica Puno, Karissa Enriquez and Catherine Campos. Coach Joel Villarino coached the team and ably assisted by Coach Ching Delos Reyes and Coach Rhea Penales. Hannah Bianca Herrera was the tournament MVP.
